The 5th edition of the future of surfactants summit will be taking place in Berlin, Germany on the 12th and 13th Febraury 2020.
Future of Surfactants Summit
The event brings together senior executives and experts from the surfactants industry including: feedstock suppliers, surfactants manufacturers, end-product manufacturers as well as technology providers and industry associations, to discuss the latest challenges and developments making an impact on the industry.

Rute Chieffi – Expert in Product and Consumer Understanding
Rute has over 16 years experience in the FMCG (Procter & Gamble) in fabric, home and health care industry. On early projects, she champions consumer insights and research methods such as ‘design thinking’, ‘lean’, and ‘job to be done’ methodologies as well as specific sensorial and ethnographic methods. She also leads product evaluations and validations, depending upon project stage.
At DJS Process Consulting Limited, Rute supports product innovation and consumer evaluation (including new apps), landscape and trends studies supporting medium and small sized business and academics.
Dr Jose Vega – Expert in bringing New Technology to Market
Jose has recently retired as R&D director in Procter & Gamble and has over 30 years experience in developing products and processes for the fabric and home care industry (detergents, fabric enhancers etc). Throughout his career, Jose has worked on numerous projects, developing and bringing new technologies to market (Surfactants, polymers, bleach, enzymes etc) in various P&G products.
At DJS Process Consulting Limited, Jose supports companies interested in taking ideas and technology to market within the FMCG industry sector. During his career at P&G, Jose played a significant role in the global launch of unit dose detergents.
